Strategies for global marketing should be tailored to the needs of consumers in different markets to achieve high customer engagement and sales in each market. This research compares the effectiveness of marketing strategies (digital marketing strategies, culturalised branding strategies, promotional discounts, and loyalty schemes) implemented across different regions such as Asia-Pacific, Europe, and North America. To comprehend the impact of strategy adaptation on consumer response and business performance in various countries, a quantitative research method was used, combined with survey-based primary data collected from 1,500 consumers as well as secondary sales and market data. Descriptive statistical measures, correlation analysis, multiple regression, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) were applied to test hypotheses on the relationship between marketing strategy adaptation, consumer engagement, and sales performance. The research design was developed with region-specific segmentation taking into account cultural, economic, and social variables. Findings indicate that there is a considerable variance in strategy performance across markets. Digital marketing and culturalised branding marketing strategies are most engaging for Asia-Pacific customers (β = 0.42, p < 0.01), while promotional discounts and loyalty schemes were found to be most effective for North America. Through SEM analysis, consumer engagement was identified as the intermediary variable that helps to explain the relationship between strategy adaptation and sales performance, revealing both direct and indirect influences of the investment in marketing strategies across different regions. The implications of this research can guide academics and professionals to further extend the theory of international marketing by confirming the correlation between strategy adaptation and outcome performance, as well as providing practical applications to maximize the performance of marketing campaigns within a specific market environment.
