Author Guidelines
Global Perspectives in Management welcomes the submission of high-quality manuscripts that adhere to our guidelines.
The submission must not have been previously published or be under consideration by another journal.
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission’s compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines:
- Manuscript Preparation
Format: Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format.
The text should use ‘Palatino Linotype’ as the base font, be single-spaced, and set in an 11 - point font.
Length: Articles should not exceed 20 pages, including references, tables, and figures.
Structure: Include the following sections: Title Page, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, References.
Style: Use APA style for citations and references.
- Title Page
Provide a title page with the manuscript title.
Full names of all authors, institutional affiliations, and email addresses.
Identify the corresponding author.
- Abstract and Keywords
Provide an abstract of up to 200 to 400 words summarizing the main findings and contributions of the study.
Include 4-6 keywords that best describe the content of the manuscript.
- Figures and Tables
Embed figures and tables within the manuscript text at appropriate locations.
Ensure high resolution for all figures and clear formatting for tables.
- References
References List: List all references at the end of the manuscript using the [APA Style]. Ensure that every in-text citation corresponds to an entry in the reference list.
Organization: Arrange references alphabetical Ordering.
In-Text Citations: Apply the author-date format for in-text citations where applicable, such as (Smith, 2020) or (Smith & Jones, 2021). For citations with more than three authors, use “et al.”
Reference Numbering: Number references sequentially and enclose each number in square brackets, for instance, [1], [2], [3].
DOIs and URLs: Include Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) for journal articles where available. For online sources, provide full URLs.
- Submission Process
- Prepare Your Manuscript: Ensure your manuscript follows the journal's formatting and submission guidelines. This includes adhering to word limits, citation styles, and including all required sections. Guidelines can be found on the journal's website.
- Submit Online: Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal’s online submission portal. You will need to create an account or log in, then upload your manuscript along with any required documents, such as a cover letter and supplementary materials.
- Cover Letter: Include a cover letter with your submission. The cover letter should highlight the importance of your research, its relevance to the journal’s scope, and disclose any potential conflicts of interest. It should also confirm that the manuscript is original and not under consideration elsewhere.
- Initial Assessment: The editorial team will conduct a preliminary assessment of your manuscript to determine if it aligns with the journal’s focus and meets submission standards. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be returned or rejected at this stage.
- Peer Review: Manuscripts that pass the initial assessment are sent for peer review. Independent reviewers will evaluate the manuscript's quality, originality, and relevance. The review process is typically double-blind, meaning that the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential.
- Final Decision: After reviewing the revised manuscript, the editorial team and reviewers will make a final decision regarding publication. The manuscript may be accepted, rejected, or sent for additional revisions.
- Publication: Once accepted, the manuscript will undergo final editing and formatting. Authors will be provided with proofs to review and approve before the article is published.
- Post-Publication: After publication, the article will be available on the journal’s website. Authors are encouraged to share and promote their work through appropriate channels.
- Ethical Considerations
Authors must adhere to ethical standards in research and publication. This includes obtaining necessary permissions and disclosing any conflicts of interest.
- Supplementary Materials
Provide any supplementary materials, such as data sets or additional figures, as separate files.
Review and Revision
Manuscripts are subject to peer review. Authors may be required to make revisions based on reviewer feedback. The revised manuscript should be resubmitted within the specified timeframe.
Post-Acceptance
Proofreading: Once accepted, authors will receive proofs for final review. Carefully check proofs for errors before returning them to the editorial office.
Publication Fee: Note any applicable publication fees, if required, and provide payment as instructed.
