Sustainability has begun acquiring a more strategic orientation for those firms that wish to position themselves for future rivalry in order to fulfill their commitment to nature and society. This paper explores the impacts of taking into account such issues as part of business strategy on firm performance. The research utilized structured questionnaires, semi-structured interviews, and secondary data from sustainability reports and ESG reports were used for this study. For quantitative analysis, descriptive statistics and regression techniques were used. Content analysis was used for qualitative analysis. The results have shown a strong positive correlation between sustainability practices and performance outcomes. Regression analysis showed that Environmental Responsibility (β = 0.42, t = 3.21, p < 0.01), Social Responsibility (β = 0.38, t = 2.87, p < 0.05), and ESG Integration (β = 0.51, t = 4.05, p < 0.001) have a positive influence on performance, with an R2 value being 37%. Descriptive analysis showed that Technology companies had the best scores for adoption of each of the three types of sustainability practices, with scores of 4.5, 4.2, and 4.3, respectively. The significance of leadership commitment, governance, and strategic alignment in achieving sustainability is highlighted through qualitative findings. From a theoretical perspective, the research contributes to the relationship between different dimensions of sustainability and performance measures. On the practical front, it provides guidelines for managers and policymakers. Among the weaknesses of this study are the use of cross-sectional research methodology and the consideration of a particular sample population, thereby recommending the adoption of longitudinal research methodologies and sector-based studies as future strategies.
